This approach entails evaluating a client’s existing delivery management systems against the organization's current needs and industry best practices. Define Stage:Optimize! reviews the current state of project delivery against business objectives, strategy and best practices to identify the existing gaps and clarify the improvement project’s business case and scope Measure Stage:Optimize! identifies the ways in which the current project delivery system’s efficacy is measured, the source and adequacy of the performance data, and the improvement project’s success criteria. Analyze Stage:Optimize! evaluates the current project delivery system’s state and defines the resources, activities and risks involved in improving its operation Improve Stage:Optimize! delivers the changes within the project’s scope and integrates the new PMO’s practices into the environment. Control Stage:Optimize! implements a continuous improvement approach to the project delivery system’s ongoing management and officially closes the project. |
